Hi Kids!

While it is a very good and commendable habit to brush your teeth in the morning and just before bed every day, it is very awful and horrible for you to refuse to wash your teeth! I am the tooth fairy and when it comes to helping you maintain strong, healthy and sparkling white teeth, you can call me your favorite magical best friend!

So, to be a good kid and remain a good friend of the tooth fairy, you must brush your teeth twice every day. What happens if you don’t brush your teeth regularly?

First of all, a dirty yellowish layer will begin to appear on your teeth. This coating is called plaque and it is caused by harmful little bacteria that come to feed on the bits of food left in your mouth when you refuse to brush your teeth.  If this yellowish layer develops and you refuse to amend your oral habits, and you still do not go to see your favorite friendly dentist, the plaque gets worse!

If you refuse to take care of your teeth even after plaque formation sets in, your teeth will gradually begin to decay. These decayed teeth can be quite painful, and they may prevent you from enjoying your favorite foods by making chewing difficult. If you get a cavity in your teeth, you might have to see a dentist for a filling, and subsequently, you will need to adopt healthy oral habits. At the tooth fairy castle where I live, decayed and rotten teeth have to be thrown away, so, therefore, I cannot pay you much for rotten or decayed teeth. If you keep your teeth clean and sparkling white, however, when I come to visit the night you lose your tooth, be sure to expect a big reward!

Finally, if you refuse to brush your teeth and take care of them probably, you might grow up into an ugly adult with nasty, brown decayed teeth. People would probably not like you, and you may end up being very lonely. Therefore, to avoid these problems, make sure you brush your teeth twice every day and always remember that the tooth fairy is your partner in progress. Keep smiling!
