Hi kids, it’s your favorite dental health partner and magical friend, the tooth fairy! I trust that you have been painstakingly brushing your teeth with a nice toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste twice a day for strong teeth, healthy gums and an all-round beautiful smile! Don’t ever forget to brush your teeth, kids, because brushing twice a day keeps the mean germs away. Whenever you have issues with your teeth, be sure to tell your mom or dad so you can be taken to see the good old dentist who is my friend, to fix your teeth for you.
So, a lot of kids and parents have been asking: “How much do the tooth fairies actually give?” and I am here today to answer that question. A long time ago, when I first started out as the tooth fairy, I used to give a dime to each kid whose teeth I took. However now, I give between 25 cents and 4 dollars to any kid whose teeth I take at night. The amount I will give to a kid will usually depend on how nice his tooth is! If you have been brushing your teeth in the morning and at night, and flossing to remove all those tiny bits of stuck food, and you have strong, healthy teeth, I will be sure to leave you a higher amount when I visit after you lose your first tooth! Apart from money, the tooth fairy that comes visiting you the night after losing your tooth may actually give you something else apart from money.
In an enchanted land where all the tooth fairies live happily, we have come to an agreement to give things such as toys, beautiful pyjamas and even their favorite books to kids who would really treasure these things more than money. We are magical creatures, and with the help of our special powers, we can actually determine what you really want! Sometimes, when you lose something special to you, it may actually get washed down the great enchanted river, and with that, we can feel the emotions and memories that connect you to that item. From these items, we can deduce exactly the perfect gift to give in return for your tooth! The next time the tooth fairy comes visiting, you might just be getting those shiny hot wheels or that gorgeous doll you have always wanted! Isn’t that just fabulous?
However, sometimes tooth fairies tend to run out of money and items after visiting a lot of kids. So, if your tooth is white and strong, and we didn’t leave much behind for you, it was probably because we had visited a lot of kids that night. We’ll make it up to you when you lose your next tooth, provided that you keep your impressive dental hygiene up!
However, if you have not been taking good care of your teeth, perhaps you do not brush your teeth before bed, or you do not floss, We may not pay a lot or get you that special item you’ve always wanted in return for your tooth! We may even pay a lot less for decayed and rotting tooth because we have to clean the plaque off dirty teeth while we throw rotten teeth away at the enchanted castle. Therefore to ensure a beautiful healthy smile, and a surprising reward from the tooth fairies, be sure to take good care of your teeth, and we’ll pay you a visit when you lose a tooth. Keep smiling!
